Investment and Financing Department arranges for the investment of the Bank funds and development of same in all fields of investment available in light of the economic researches within the framework of the Bank's general policy in accordance with the General Manager's policies and directives and the Board of Directors as well as following up the execution of same.

In cooperation with the concerned departments, the department prepares the draft investment general plan according to the Bank's general objectives as well as studying the various scopes of investment and recommendation in a manner that would allow the Bank to optimize and diversify its investments in order to realize the best returns with the least possible hazards.

The department also reviews the projects in which the Bank may partner and communicate with all the concerned authorities in such fields. Through following-up the investments, the department shall submit the periodical reports to determine degree of deviation from the execution of the drawn plan and submit proposals to avoid omission if any.
